This 2 day course takes place at Leintwardine Community Centre , Leintwardine, Shropshire and starts at 10:00am and finishes at 4:00pm

Imagine feelings, emotions and all those abstract concepts we feel, expressed visually. What will your inner vision have to say? Explore techniques for creating great abstract paintings. Various ideas and techniques will also be covered for generating and developing abstract ideas from things seen.

Course Outline includes:

• Welcome and introduction
• Drawing and painting demonstrations
• A short session on colour theory and colour mixing
• Exploring ways of developing abstraction
  
• Painting your picture together with lots of motivating and informative advice
• A plenary session, where each work will be considered individually by Paul who will offer expert commentary and advice

A light lunch plus is provided. MATERIALS ARE NOT PROVIDED on this course. Please bring your own Drawing and Painting materials. If you want Paul to supply all your materials please see Related Products below.

This course uses acrylic paint.

Accommodation is available at the Lion Inn, Leintwardine

Suggested materials: A range of acrylic/oil brushes of various sizes and types e.g. Filbert No 5, Flat No 4, No 8, Round No 1 or No 2 and No 4. Colours: permanent rose, lemon yellow, ultramarine, titanium white, burnt umber, yellow ochre, cadmium yellow, possibly vermilion hue, permanent green and winsor blue. One acrylic painting pad minimum size A3, preferably 16 x 20 inches.
