The course starts at 10.00am and finishes at 4.00pm.

How to create landscapes in watercolour stage by stage, using wet on wet and wet on dry. On the Sunday we shall apply the ideas learnt to our own masterpiece.

All drawing materials are provided together with an easel and board. A light lunch is also provided. Painting materials are Not provided, so please bring your own.

This course uses watercolour paint.

Suggested materials: A range of watercolour brushes of various sizes and types e.g. Round No 1 or No 2 and No 8 or 10, Flat No 6 or 8 and a 1" or similar Hake brush. A watercolour paint box with minimum of 12 colours by a reputable supplier, Winsor Newton/Rowney etc. One watercolour pad size A3 or similar, preferably 140lb or 300 gsm paper.

However, the use of brushes, boards, paints etc can be purchased at the rate of £5 per day from Paul. See ART COURSES 09 for details.

Directions to Aston on Clun Village Hall:
From Craven Arms on the A49 take the B4368 to Clun and Aston on Clun. Aston on Clun is approximately 4 miles from Craven Arms. As you enter Aston on Clun turn left into a narrow road about 50 yards beforeyou reach the Kangaroo Pub. The Village Hall in about 100yds down the road on the right.
